The Durham District School Board (DDSB) will hold its 2023-2024 budget deliberation meetings in the following upcoming public sessions. All meetings will be held in-person at the DDSB Education Centre and will be live-streamed on DDSB’s YouTube Live channel.

  • Public Deputations to the Education Finance Committee
• Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
  • Overview of the 2023-2024 Grants for Student Needs
  • Presentation of the 2023-2024 draft budget
• Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.    CANCELLED
  • Presentation of the updated draft budget, if required
  • Public Deputations to the Education Finance Committee
• Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. - Virtual Meeting only - no in-person session
  • Presentation of the updated draft budget, if required
  • Budget Consideration and Recommendation to the Board of Trustees

Members of the public and DDSB stakeholder groups are welcome to prepare a written submission or make a public presentation to the Education Finance Committee at the April 4 or May 31 meetings. • Requests for the April 4, 2023 meeting must be received no later than March 28, 2023, at noon.
• Requests for the May 31, 2023 meeting must be received no later than May 24, 2023, at noon.
